Zenith was officially born in 1865. Through the 1900''s, Zenith is a leader in innovation garnering many awards. It's most famous movement, "The El Primero" comes to market in 1969. Until 1996 Rolex used the "El Primero" movement in the Daytona models. In 1999 the company is bought by Luxury Giant LVMH (Louis Vuitton, Moet, Hennesy).
