In late 2005, Girard Perregaux owned Daniel JeanRichard became JeanRichard. The firm is looking to step out from under Girard Perregaux and have a go at the upper echelons of the watch market. JeanRichard introduced their own movement a short time ago. The model lineup features some immpressive watches that are priced lower than their Girard Perregaux cousins. Unfortunately, like Girard Perregaux watches, JeanRichards watches also sell at a deep discount. While that may be bad news for the company's owners, it's good news for watch lovers who want to get a top level watch at an affordable price.
